Hi

I'm a basic excel user, and I need to sum a column of data (Vehicle Mileage in Column F) across multiple sheets (all in the same column) however the columns of data are of varying length which is what I'm having the problem with because I need to print these sheets and I want the total just below the Mileage on each sheet.

Kind Regards

Hi,

The way I do this is by selecting all data after Ideleted the total row in each sheet, do on insert tab and select "table". In the design tab, you can add total row and get rid of the band rows.
Wen you are in the last cell of te table, tab key will insert a line.

If you sum the mileage columns of all the tables by selecting them, the formula will look like

Code:
=sum(Table1[Mileage],Table2[Mileage])
and the data that you add later on will automatically be added (dynamic range).
