Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with using the new Get Data functionality in 1400 compatibility level SSAS models? I was quite excited to get access to it but now that I haven't been able to work out how, or if it's even possible, to edit Queries once they have been created.

I'm working on M&A transactions so we get new data each week and it usually needs additional cleansing, for example there might be a new column that has N/As in it that I need to remove. When working in excel I go into the Power Query, change the source to my latest file, and then amend the query as necessary. Can I do the equivalent in SSAS?

Crosspost from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/BusinessIn...2017_edit_queries_in_new_get_data_experience/

Many thanks,
Gary

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
