My personal.xlsb somehow got corrupted and I lost a lot of code. Now trying to restore from various sources but want to keep a history i.e. notes of what has been done. The logical place to put these notes is in the personal.xlsb worksheet itself.

Is there any reason why not?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
What if the workbook gets corrupted again & you cannot open it?
True. It was just code in the Modules section that got corrupted before, the workbook opened without probs. But I guess there's nothing to get corrupted on an empty worksheet so even putting plain text there might be a potential source of further difficulties. Thanks for the comment.
