Hi all, first time poster.

I was wondering whether anyone has managed to 'fix' this issue in Power BI.

What I'm trying to do is to have a Slicer or Input from the user from the report page, that is attached to a parameter which is in the SQL query code. So when the user changes the parameter the code will run and change the data and display updated visuals.

I can create the parameters and update them in Power BI desktop OK. But I was wondering whether there is a way to connect the parameters to a slicer so when I publish the report the user can easily update it?

Any help would be much appreciated. My organisation is moving away from SSRS and Report Server to Power BI, but a lot of my work is dependent on parameter use.

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
