Using IF statement to show data from Friday on Mondays

Currently I have my data show stats for the previous day. For example on Tuesday I show Monday's data, on Wednesday I show Tuesday's data and so forth. I need help making a formula where on Monday's I can show Friday's data. I don't need to show the weekend data. I've played around with IF statements and WEEKDAY functions but had no luck. The red cells are Fridays. To recap, on Monday the 4th I would like to display Friday's I1 cell and if it is not monday then show previous day.

Try adding another column (hidden?) with the =WEEKDAY() function this will return a number 1-7 for the day of the week (1=Sunday)

Put this column in B and your formula would be..

If(OR(B2=7,B2=1),"Do Nothing",If(B2=6,"Lookup 3 rows","Lookup 1 row"))

Replace the "text" with whatever your function is
