Hi

I have a work book where on sheet 1 I have a lot of data where I have highlighted different cel with text in different colours, On sheet 2 I have set for certain colums from sheet 1 to copy across using the generic ='sheet1A1' function,

I also want the cel colour to transfer with this but it does not,

So if I have coloured sheet1A! in blue, I want sheet2A1 to show the text and colout.

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Formulae cannot see cell formats & therefore cannot copy them.
If the colours are set using conditional format, then you would need to set the Cf on the other sheet as weel.
If the colour is set manually, then you will need VBA
