Working on a schedule where I want to increase each cell by :05 (five minutes)

Cell A3 would have 4:05
Want cell A4 to have 4:10
A5 to have 4:15 and so on....possible using the fill handle?

--------------------

Second option is I would use "two" times in one cell, like this:
A3 4:05 - 4:10
A4 4:10 - 4:15
and so on....

Know there has to be a way, but don't know where to start....thanks!;)

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Cell A3 would have 4:05
Want cell A4 to have 4:10
A5 to have 4:15 and so on....possible using the fill handle?
Yes, select all three cells & then drag down using the fill handle

Thank you - did not realize I had to copy from prior THREE cells, but it worked great!

Now, for second part - if a "block of time" was listed in cells, can that be filled down as well? I tried using your prior answer, and did not go well.

A3 = 4:00 - 4:05
A4 = 4:05 - 4:10
A5 = 4:10 - 4:15
A6 should show: 4:15 - 4:20
A7 should show: 4:20 - 4:25
and so on....

Many thanks again for the first answer!

Hi,
Not sure whether this would help or not but how about, running the following down in column B where column A has your numbers =text(a2,"HH:MM")&" - "&text(a3,"HH:MM").
Then copy paste special values, it wouldn't have any functionability though..
