Hello,
I am trying to create an organogram that can display more than just a hierarchy tree. I would like it to be able to show additional layers of attributes at the user's request. For example, if the user would like to see all the people who joined the organisation in the last ten years, then the user selects an option which then reflects that information in the organogram (for example, by changing the colour of relevant persons' details in the organogram).
This is beyond my Excel abilities but I would be surprised if there is not some way of achieving this, hence asking the question here. I wonder if it could be achieved by use of a pivot table, where changing the data query automatically updates the colouring of the organogram.
The data I have in Excel is similar to the following: a hundred rows of data, each row containing entry on one position within the organisation. The columns have data showing the post-holder's name, data of joining the organisation, favourite colour, and favourite number.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
