Hi all very new here. i have a list of products when i select one it has that products square footage and then i add in the customers..Example - customer has 132 sq ft, a pallet holds 120 sq ft, and a layer holds 12 sq ft I'm trying to get my sheet to resemble that in two different cells
pallet -1
layer - 1
instead of 1.1 in single cells these numbers change due to vlookup/my list of each product or the square footage of the customer..is this possible? thanks

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
For this example, I assumed your customer Sq feet was in cell C2:

Pallets (in cell D2): =FLOOR(C2/120,1)
if your product sq footage per pallet is variable, use that in place of 120 in the formula

Layers (in cell E2): =CEILING((C2-(D2*120))/12,1)
if your product sq footage per layer is variable, use that in place of 12 in the formula
