I am trying to use conditional formatting for multiple cells. For every Friday, I would like to highlight red the ones that is our off Friday. I use a table of dates that I want to match against to highlight the red ones. Only one day gets highlighted. I thought I read that I can use the one formula for multiple cells but cannot remember how. Can someone tell me how to make it highlight all Fridays that are off days.

13 Jan highlights correct. 27 January should also show red.
The Friday days are F8, F10, F12, F14, F16, F18

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Try it like
Excel Formula:
=countifs($AE$8:$AE$33,F8)

Solution
Thank you, it seems to work by selecting all Fridays and creating the conditional formula using your solution.
