Hi there,
I have a quick question regarding the use of arrays with '=SKEW'. According to this guide:
SKEW - Excel - Office.com
Skew accepts 1-30 arguments.
As the dataset I wish to calculate the skew for is 100+, I therefore have 100+ arguments. The guide recommends creating an array to calculate the Skew.
If the data I wish to calculate can be found in cells D2 to D121, I'd just like to check I'm using the correct formula to calculate the skew. Here's what I've got in Excel:
{=SKEW(D2:D121)}
After typing the formula =SKEW(D2:D121) I use CSE (control, shift enter).
I've had a look at the excellent guide here: Array Formulas | Excel Array Formula | Supercharge your formulas and I believe I'm along the right lines, but just wish to confirm that this is how to correctly use an array for =skew.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using Excel 2007 on Windows XP.
