Good Day to all. I have been out of excel for close to year now (imagine that) and althought I was never a super user, I have always managed (with help from the pros on this site) to get things done.
I need help once again.
In a worksheet I have a drop down list box that reads from range A5:A7. (the text "Option 1" is in cell A5, "Option 2" in A6 and "Option 3" in A7)
This drop down list box is linked to cell J9 (and displays the text that was selected in the drop down list box)
My Goal:
when i select an option from the drop down list box, whatever is displayed in cell J9 (which the drop down is linked to) will trigger a hyperlink selection to a specified cell within the same worksheet.
e.g. If i select "Option 1" from the drop down. The text "Option 1" appears in J9 and the worksheet jumps to cell B25 (the specified cell reference) in the same way a hyperlink would work using a cell reference.
I am of course open to other suggestions as to how to work this.
