I have a macro that retrieves the username by using the command of Environ("USERNAME"). This works great! However, users on Citrix clients receive an error when the macro run..."The expression you entered has a function name that Microsoft Office Access can't find." We are using Access 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Try this API technique:

I just tested it a minute ago on a Win2Kp OS using Citrix and Access2K
Should be the same for yours. UserID populated in my text box (that's how I've implemented it) without any error messages on a machine that had never ever opened my mdb file before today.
