Hi i have designed a splash screen which appears on the screen for 3 seconds then automatically closes and loads the switch board.

What i want to be able to do is create an AutoExec macro which would minimise the main window, how would i be able to achieve this please, so i don't want my end-user to be able to see any of the tables in design view all i want them to see is the options on the switchboard.

Thank you for your time and help.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
No need for the autoexec. Go to Tools | Start Up. You have already nominated that you want the Switchboard (and your splash screen) to display. Remove the check mark on Display Database Window and the database window will be hidden on startup. If you need to get it back (to modify the design), hit the [F11] key.
