Userforms data validation

Hi

I am working on a sub which has a userform as part of the macro, there are some calculations based on the information the user puts in the user form, some of the calculations are on time so the user needs to put a : between the hours and minutes and seconds (12:45:29) some are based on dates so they need to separate the days months and years by a / such as 11/05/2018 and finally there are some normal numbers with decimal places with a normal . I need to do some data validation, so if someone puts the wrong thing in the form doesn't run or better then that, they can't move out of the textbox on the userform without correcting the error, maybe a message box saying use either a / : . depending on what’s in the box.
Anybody got any suggestions?
