Hi

Has anyone here created toolbars on a userform? I don't mean using the MS Toolbar Control, I want to know if anyone has come up with an alternative method?

I'm thinking of using labels with a context menu, or using a mash-up of other controls. I'l like to hear from you if you have any experience doing this so that I can choose the best approach.

Preferably I would like to be creating table driven toolbars so that I can have varying toolbars for different usergroups and forms.

Cheers
Jon

Thanks Rory.
Another thing I am looking at is dropping a label on the form (e.g. called "File") and then behind it place a combobox for the submenu items. I can call the dropdown with the label click event and then use the combobox event to run whatever action when a specific item is selected.

Is there a property where I can test whether or not a combobox is expanded?

Why use a combobox rather than a listbox if you're going to hide the textbox part? Easier to just show/hide a listbox then you can simply test its Visible property if you need to.

I was hoping you would drop by Jaafar ;-)

I saw mention of this on the web but when I went to the link it went to his website, which has since expired. So thanks very much for this reference, I'm going to play around with this. :)
