Hi,

I have an excel sheet with a cell (C1) formatted to hh:mm

I have then created a userform with textbox1 and essentially want to add hh:mm to the textbox and have it add to the hh:mm already in cell C1.

I am currently starting at 00:00, the cell is formatted correctly, but every time I enter a time into textbox1, it amends the C1 cell to a date and ruins my calculations. Can anyone help to fix this?

The code I have to add textbox1 to the C1 value is:

Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Range("C1").Value = Range("C1").Value + Val(TextBox1.Text)
End Sub

Thanks

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Try:

VBA Code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Range("C1").Value = Range("C1").Value + CDate(Format(TextBox1.Text, "hh:mm"))
End Sub
