Userform Listbox, dividers between multiple colums?

Hello everyone,

I have been working on a userform. Part of the form included about 150 txtboxes.

While searching for some coding answers to setfocus and format etc., I came across a post from Norie asking the OP of the thread I was reading why they didn't just use a listbox. :)

Well, I thought that may be the ticket and I tested out a new workbook with a listbox and one set of textboxes for inputs. Shows alot of promise.

Here is where my question stems from. I didn't save the wb.
I thought I somehow had dividers between the listbox columns, now I cannot figure out how I did that.

Are dividers (column seperators) possible in a multi column listbox on a userform?

I am basically ready to accept that I am fabricating and imagining this.
Am I nuts?

Thanks,
Jeff

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
No it was a listbox for sure.

I do not save wb's when testing small things, I wish I would have saved this one to be able to know for sure.

Just kindof looking for conformation on this.

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks Jaslake,

The pipes added to columns between would do. I breifly played with the listveiw, however I have all the functionallity coded into the listbox and it seems to work well.

Even without the column dividers, the data looks good. So I think I will chalk this one up to 'I was imagining the dividers' or 'I'm nuts'...

I must say using one set of textboxes and a listbox is much better than having 200+ textboxes to store info. :)

Hi Jeff

I have to admit, I've become somewhat enamored with ListView...seems much cleaner to me and the transition from ListBox to ListView is not terribly daunting.

Good luck in your project.

I do think I will lean toward listveiw in my next adventure now that I know it exists.
