Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
I can't remember the name of the file exactly, but when setting up security, access sets up a workgroup file that stores information. I *believe* the extension on the file is *.mdw and it should be located in the root directory for the Access.EXE executable.

SYSTEM.MDW

Don't use these alot myself, but, I believe it can be setup two ways.
Each machine can have a unique system.mdw file and each access database can have a unique system.mdw file that controls all access by all users connecting to it.

I don't have a chance today to test it, but I think the answer is yes: move it to the share drive.
