Use wildcard in IF/OR formula

Hi, I am trying to find out if it is possible to use wildcards in a formula. In the formula below you can see the items in the "OR" statement all start with "FAS-5". Any help is appreciated. Thanks

=IF(OR($BF24="FAS-5 SL - HIGH",$BF24="FAS-5 SL WHITE",$BF24="FAS-5 SL ANOD",$BF24="FAS-5 DUAL WHT",$BF24="FAS-5 DUAL ANOD"),INDEX('DEDUCT ARRAY'!$B$5:$J$50,MATCH($C24,'DEDUCT ARRAY'!$A$5:$A$50,0),MATCH(IY$22,'DEDUCT ARRAY'!$B$3:$J$3,0)),0)

=IF(LEFT($BF24,5) = "FAS-5",INDEX....
