Use of Purchased Items

I purchased the PODCAST CD as well as the E-textbook. I teach Excel online and want to know if I can use the PODCASTS as part of my instruction in my class. Am I able to cut/paste parts of the E textbook into my lecture notes.

You are free to use the podcasts in your class!

The e-books are copyrighted material. There is something called fair use, which would allow you to copy a short passage from the book and add it to the lecture notes. If you do this, please list the attribution of where the passage is from. Fair use lets you copy bits and pieces of the book. Do you need more than that?
