Hi

I have a spreed sheet that has names and address on it.

HTML:

  A1 has a name
  A2 has a number and a street
  A3 has a city, state, and zip code (which is a number)
  A4 is empty
  A5 is empty
  A6 has a name
  A7 has a number and a street
  A8 has a city, state, and zip code (which is a number)
  A9 is empty
  A10 is empty
  And so on

Can I write an IF statement to count the number of people?

Something like >>in D1>>>

HTML:

IF( a1 doesn’t have a number and text, then 1, if it does then 0)

I then can copy it down to the end
Then I can add up the 1’s to see how many people are listed ( there are no Mr & Mrs., only single people)
