I just recently updated from Excel 2007 to 2016 and trying to figure out what is new that was added since 2007, that would be noticeable.
For example, I found:
-Power Fill
-Ability to move Excel Files to different screens, instead of being on top of each other
-Ability to fill in blanks on a pivot table
-Power Query
-Power Pivot
-Different Types of Charts
-Ribbon (Tool Bar( - Some options removed/added/renamed, etc
