I’m trying to open Prophet tables (.fac format), update them on excel and then save them in .fac format such that they can be used on Prophet using a Macro. Please help me out as to how this can be done?

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

Can you open this kind of table manually under Excel like any workbook or csv text file ?

So if you can open it into Excel you can easily modify it and save it
and you can start your own code just activating the Macro Recorder before to operate manually …

Hi, I'm trying to use Excel VBA to modify Prophet tables as well. I can open the .fac files in Excel and edit them but I can only save them as .csv or other Excel formats instead of .fac format. Hence after modifying the tables, they can't be read by Prophet.. any tips for this?

As xl cannot save the files in the correct format, you either need to find some other software that will convert a csv to fac, or don't edit the files in xl.
