Updating Data in a Worksheet

Hello,

I trying to develop a Tool that will a submit data to a table (the easy part), and to be brought back in a specific readable format on a Form (again the easy part). But at time the users may need to change or add to the data. I've tried googling this but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm assuming this is pretty simple, but just doen't know where to start. I have two tables where the data may be stored or amended, 1 is an entry table with 1 entry per reference, the other is a narrative/action table which may have dozen of entries per reference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
