Hi there,

Is there a way to have a dynamic formula that updates to include data from only rows visible when a filter is in place?

I have built a report where the top few rows are used to show a total count of a status (e.g. =COUNTIF(A$13:A$10000,"Approved"). The data is for a full year, but I'd like to have the result update when rows are filtered by date (Column B shows the date created).

Failing this approach, my next though was to add a 'reporting from' and 'reporting to' field somewhere and add a further COUNTIF parameter.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
Jim

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
How about
Excel Formula:
=LET(d,A13:A10000,ROWS(FILTER(d,(d="approved")*(MAP(d,LAMBDA(m,SUBTOTAL(3,m)))))))
