Update the new colum

I want to update my file when I am receiving new prices for any place as well as if any new new place name came also need to update in place column and the prices I need to highlight in yellow color which I have received, for example I am giving some data.

Required data

On the next column the new rates if received and if no new new rate then the old rate and if any destination not in my file then need to update the destination name also in destination column and price in latest price column and at the starting cell of the column i want the date of update and I need to highlight in yellow color the cells which are containing the new price for existing destinations as well as for new destinations also,then on the next column I want the difference between existing column price and new update column price.


If any one can help for this problem then I will be ever grateful to him/her.

If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.

What version of Excel are you using?

Again, it is difficult to see what worksheets you are using, and where your data begins (rows and columns).

You will generally get much more help (and faster) in this forum if you can post your small samples (what you have and what you expect to achieve) directly in the forum.

I am using MS Excel 2007 and the new data what I will receive first I will paste in one file then I will start the macro in my master file.

The new data I will paste from cell a1
