Update query is not working while ms access tables are link to sharepoint list

Good Morning,

I have MS Access database with “Table_A” and “Table_B” & both the tables are link to SharePoint lists (Separates list are maintain for each table, whatever data is uploaded on SharePoint lists it automatically comes to database “Table_A” and “Table_B”) however every month end we required to replace data from specific column e.g. Table A column “ APR A/F 2016” data will be update to Table B “APR A/F 2016” I have written update query but its not working, these are link table to SharePoint is that the reason behind to not to work ? Please advise
