Hi,

Is this possible. I have a vba macro per this youtube video to unlink and save the file without the power query connection.

However, how do i schedule this?

e.g. daily revenue reports at 4.15pm access power query workbook (Daily revenue pivot charts & tables etc). Update and save unlinked and then emal colleague the unlinked version.

Many Thanks
Gareth

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
This is the video I have followed to unlink:

However, is it possible the code can be changed to unlink all tables and pivots on the work book and then save.

VBA Code:
Sub UnlinkTable()

With ThisWorkbook
    .RefreshAll
    DoEvents

    .Save
    DoEvents

    Application.DisplayAlerts = False
    .SaveAs Filename:=ThisWorkbook.Path & "\" & Format(Now(), "YYYYmmdd_hhmmss") & ".xlsx", _
        FileFormat:=xlOpenXMLWorkbook
    DoEvents
    Application.DisplayAlerts = True

End With

With ActiveWorkbook
    .Sheets("Report").ListObjects(1).Unlink

    .Sheets("Report").Shapes.Range(Array("Button 1")).Delete

    .Save
End With

End Sub

Many Thanks
