Update Date from Table1 to Table2

My dear friends,

i have two tables in one table i have startshift ,endshift and shiftdate in table1

StartShift	EndShift	ShiftDate <tbody> </tbody>
01/08/2015 6:00:00 <tbody> </tbody>	02/08/2015 6:00:00 <tbody> </tbody>	01-Aug-15 <tbody> </tbody>

<tbody>
</tbody>

in table two i have timings i want to update tbale1 shift date in table2 where table2 timings exist in between table1 start and end shift timings.

StartTime <tbody> </tbody>	EndTime <tbody> </tbody>	SixToSixShift <tbody> </tbody>
01/08/2015 07:55:06	01/08/2015 07:56:01 <tbody> </tbody>

how i have to write update query in access.

why do you have a [shift date] field in table1, when the date is already in [StartShift]?

Dear ranman256,

i have to update table1 shift in table2. in tbale2 i have start time and end time with date but i don't have shift date this data i am getting from an other application. now i have to update shift date which is cover 24 hours. like from today 0700 to next day 0700 i have to update one date. one shift date is covering 24 hours if i take from table2 by putting format function then date will change after 00:00 but my shift date will not change till next day 0700. so i have to update shiftdate in table 2 against those fields in table2 which are laying in between table1 startshift and endshift date. for example 01-08-15 07:00:00 to 02-08-15 07:00:00 = 01-08-15
