I have Excel Workbook that has links to other workbooks and when I open it I tell it to update the data every time it asks for the location of an old workbook that it is no longer linked to.
users/tgreene2856/Document/SWA/Ranking.xlsx. When I search for this in the workbook it finds nothing. Can anyone tell me why this may be happening?

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Could that link be in a range name or some other rule?

If you go into Data tab/Edit Links and see if you can find it there - if you find it, break the link
