UPDATE A TEXTBOX WITH COM PORT DATA

Hi Everyone....
I am developing a WEIGHT SCALE Database In MSAccess
HERE i connect a digital weight scale with my computer via COM1 port
I set two command buttons
1: = GROSE
2: = TARE
how it possible that i click cmdGROSS and the weight displayed in txt1st TEXTBOX that displaying on scale's weight indicator

as it is with cmdTARE to txt2nd

You would need to look at the manual to see how that scal sends data or answers requests for data?
Bit like using a scanner, all are or can be different.

i cannot find scale manual.

Google for it. You will be suprised how many manuals are out there.
I just download one for a device I had for years and lost the manual.

Two steps really.
1. Find out what the scale sends.
2. Find out how to read the COM port to get that value.
