Hello,

I have multiple sets of tables in a worksheet that I use for data validation lists. I can dynamically add new items to the tables and they will show up in the drop down lists in my worksheet. I would like to know if it is possible to add to the tables via the cell with the data validation list if the entered value is not in the list.
Example:

Data Entry Sheet Data Validation Sheet
Name Sport Sport
Mark Football Baseball
David Baseball Football
Steve ?

I would like to click the drop down and type in soccer (I do have the error alert turned off) and have soccer added to the sport table on the data validation sheet. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
