i keep getting errors on the status column of my worksheet that has no formulas and only consists of a dropdown list.

when i click on error restore to calculated formula i get a randbetween function populating my cell with numbers

the worksheet works perfectly fine even with the errors as i have iterative calculations enabled, but when i sent it to my boss he keeps getting the error message and he said it wont be practical to ask 20+ users to go into their settings to help resolve the issue.

any workarounds?

i am unable to share my worksheet as I am on a work device so any help would be great

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

In that case there is a formula in there somewhere, you need to find it & remove it.

They will have to go into their settings to enable iterative calculation.
