The orange "unread message" tags in the board directory (http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/index.php) don't seem to be updating correctly. For example, if I go to the lounge, read all of the messages, and return to http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/index.php, the orange "unread message here" tag will still show up on the lounge link until I go to the lounge and click "mark all messages read".
Yeah, we know. It's been happening to me (and Nate if I'm remembering correctly) since last week. You're the first "normal" user I've seen say anything about it, though. I wasn't sure if it was affecting everyone and no one was noticing or if it was just us...?
Anyway, according to Suat, it's a side-effect from a change he made to fix the board speed. He's looking into a way to fix it without undoing the change he made, since the fix has helped out quite a bit.
