Hi,

I'm importing a large data file into excel and columns A&B are merged. I tried to record a Macro to unmerge and delete column B, but i got an error because it was "too large". Can anyone help me out with a simple macro that would unmerge columns A&B starting at row 7 and then delete column B?

Thanks!!

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
How about
Code:
Sub chk()
Range("A7", Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp)).Resize(, 2).MergeCells = False
Columns(2).Delete
End Sub
