I've been asked to produce an automated report from Sims, a school MIS in the UK, that gives our schools exclusion data for the Trust KPI but I'm really struggling with one aspect. I've designed the report to run straight from Sims and put a link to a version with anonymised data in.

It exports based on date filters in Sims for that academic year, these are the YTD outputs, and then gives secondary figures based on date fields, HT outputs, that can be changed by the user in the report. It then needs to calculate the outputs required in L5 to L18. I've got formula to calculate the majority of them but I'm just struggling with L15 to L18. What it need it to calculate is the number of students who have more than 1 exclusion in the whole data set, then the number with more than 1 within the date range inputted into D2 and D3 and both again filtered for those students who are defined as T in column B, PP. It would be relatively simple if it was for myself but I would not be the end user and they are not the most IT literate so I want to limit the input to the date range in D2 and D3 and everything is then populated for them.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
