Hi,
Applying FILTER in a table which included name of retail outlets and their town names. At bottom of table somewhere in a cell for a purpose I want to show "filtered" town name while apply filter on a town ... and my purpose is... I will put a "vlookup" with this to pull data from another table of town name list with population ( I have population data table but it is town wise).

Any suggestion please...

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
I have googled and my friend also suggested for below formula... it is working well for my purpose... (Array formula with {...})

=INDEX(C:C,MIN(IF(SUBTOTAL(3,OFFSET(C3,ROW(C3:C478)-ROW(C3),0)),ROW(C3:C478))))
