Hi,

I'm trying to "bump" two sets of data. I have one table with 20 fields and one table with 10 fields (some fields correspond, some don't). I would like to match one of the fields that are common to both, that would then correspond to a second field in the second table.

I thought a union query would work but the second field is not a field in the first table. Any help is appreciated!

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Have you tried an append query? Are there fields in BOTH tables that are not in the other table? Or does the table with 20 fields contain all 10 of the fields in the 2nd table?
