Hi,

Created a Pivot Table and a Pivot Chart. I want to hide all the data details in that sheet and only display the chart and slicer, which works perfectly fine. The only problem is I can not unhide the columns again even though they are all marked and I click "unhide". I've been going with ctrl+z but that will not work after closing the workbook and reopening it. How do I come around this issue?

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Move the Chart and Slicer to another sheet then you could hide the worksheet that has the data on it and then you can unhide when you need to.

Yes you should be able to do all on one sheet, but if your having unhide issues then consider what I have suggested. A good dashboard idea is interface with slicers and pivots keeping the source data away from users.

The only other option I can think of is to possible upload a copy of the workbook so I can take a look. If there is sensitive data then change that first.
