Understanding Classes

I am trying to understand classes using VBA Excel. I am having a hard time digesting the whole idea of them. Can someone explain to me or direct me to place that was useful to you? I am looking for detailed examples. I have a vague understanding of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
