Underlining Entire Phrase

I have a cell containing a paragraph of text. When I go to underline a portion of that text, only the words are underlined and not the spaces. Is there a way to underline the entire phrase instead of just the words?

What it does:
The quick brown fox ran and jumped over the white fence.

What I would like:
The quick brown fox ran and jumped over the white fence.

well...nevermind. i figured it out. when the cell is justified it breaks it up. but when left aligned it puts it together.
