Hi Guys,
I need to "Unshare a workbook" because the VBA isn't working because the code unprotects the worksheet behind the scenes but looking at the ribbon all the protection tab is greyed out and I cannot find a reason or answer to remove the greyed out.

Even the "Share Workbook (Legacy)" is greyed out. i added this thinking I could go down this route.
Can anyone help?

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Have you tried manually running just the piece of vba that unprotects the worksheet? Or run it in the Immediate Window.

Thanks for the suggestion Sparky, i have tried that and the code just stops dead because it is unable to remove protection.
