I have generated a lot of workbooks which enable management of some engineering projects. The workbooks include many spreadsheets which assist Project Managers with control of their project, eg. Programming, Financial control, Briefs and Responses, Projects Notes, Safety Audits etc. etc. Each workbook contains lots of macros to assist in moving around the workbook, saving and exiting etc. Each workbook contains a MENU spreadsheet which includes lots of MACRO buttons to take you to the other spreadsheets.
In one particular workbook pressing a button in the MENU spreadsheet caused Excel to crash and exit. I have deleted the macro recorded to that button. I've then tried to re-record the macro using the same button but, just in case, have changed it's name. However I now get the message "Unable to record". I've tried deleting the button entirely and inserted a new button from the Developer - Insert Menus. However, when I try to record the macro I get the same "Unable to record message".
Any suggestions much appreciated.
