This is a puzzle. The issue is related to pasting a range as a picture link in Excel 2010. The file in question has previously allowed pasting ranges that include charts into another tab as pictures (for ease of printing configurations). For some reason, when I attempt to paste picture links now, I am getting an error "Unable to paste link."
What can I do to resolve this trouble? I have other linked pictures in this file (in other tabs), and the menu item is not grayed out all the time (sometimes it is).
The downside for me is that the file in question is a monthly metrics one, so a linked picture is preferable to just pasting the chart in terms of timeliness and efficiency.
