Hi guys,

I have been trying for a while to fix this issue with the arrays in this file. I have quite basic knowledge, and I was trying to get help through tutorial. However, everything seems to be related to arrays, but not to my specific case. I am always in need to add/delete rows because of the addition of names. However, it doesn't let me as "You can't change part of an array".

Now I once got so mad that instead to try and find a solution, I have created the file from 0 again. That obviously didn't change much as next time I opened the file, I was back at it.

This is the data I am working with:

10. October.xlsx
BCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZAAABACADAEAFAGAHAIAJAKALAMANAOAPAQARASATAUAVAWAXAYAZBABBBCBDBEBFBGBHBIBJBKBLBMBNBOBP

Can someone help me to undestand what's the issue or what I am doing wrong in this case?

Thanks in advance :)

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
I tried with the mini sheet sample and it seems OK for me.
"You can't change part of an array" notice usually happens with merge cells copy/paste, but i am not sure its your case.
May be try to un-merge cells before insert/remove rows?

Do you have any other formulae on that sheet outside of the range you posted?

On that actual sheet, not at all. I selected the range of cells where all the formulas are. I have a second sheet in the workbook with many formulas connected to the main sheet you already saw. Do you think it could be related?

No, the only time I have had the "You can't change part of an array" error is when you have a formula in multiple cells & you have selected the range & then confirmed the formula with Ctrl Shift Enter

It doesn't appear related to this thread but the other place I have seen it is sometimes arrays emanating from spill range arrays rather that Ctrl+Shift+Enter specifically. For example if you try to sort column C below

@irontis
If you would like further investigation and you can remove or disguise any sensitive data, could you upload a sample file to DropBox or OneDrive or Google Drive etc and provide a shared link here in your thread?
