Unable to access archive (SEARCH - Excel Questions)

In the past few weeks I've been unable to access the archive. When I type text in the SEARCH box and click Go, I'm taken to all the messages relating to my text but I cannot access any of them via the link (message title).

Am I alone with this problem? I've been a member since June and regularly use the archive without any problems until now.

Hope someone can help.

what exactly happens?
have you tried deleting your cookies?

Thanks for reply.
Deleted my Cookies and tried again, but keep getting the message "The page cannot be displayed. The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings."

I am using my work PC and I don't have access to my settings, but I would be surprised if it were this as I'm not aware any settings have been changed and I don't have any problems with other sites I visit.

Cheers,
Stewart

Second link/thread worked (without the &highlight=), first one didn't. Hopefully that makes it easier to identify the problem.

Many Thanks for your time,
Stewart

Darnit. It seems that you're one of the few people (that I'm aware of, at any rate) running into the "highlight" issue.

I thought it was fixed when the board was upgraded, but apparently something's not quite right.

Until we figure out what's going on, the only thing to do is to manually remove the "&highlight=" and anything appearing after that from any link.

It's a pain, but I honestly don't know of any other way around it short of finding a fix for the board--which is being looked into.

When clicking on the thread the following appears...

This takes ages (well up to a minute) for the following to appear...

When I removed the '&highlight=autofill', as you suggested, I'm straight in there. Just thought I'd add this in case it helps, I've never before taking any notice of the url so I don't know if the first bit is normal.

Anyhow, grateful that I now have a way of accessing the links,
thanks very much.

Stewart

Links to Archive working again

Thanks to all for your help - something must have been adjusted at your end recently, now works fine.
