Type of formula that will arrange data a certain way

Can someone please let me know what the best formula to use for this example.


I have data from A1:D5 that comes in from another work sheet that's usually in no particular order
Joe
Mary
Bob
Steve
Lucy

If I wanted to have in F1:J5 it to be sorted in a order I've selected. Say I always need it to be this certain order:
Lucy
Bob
Mary
Joe
Steve

What kind of approach or formula would be best suggested?

In G1 enter, copy across, and down:

=VLOOKUP($F1,$A$1:$D5,COLUMNS($G:G)+1,0)
