Hi,

I need to apply two data validations in a single cell. One is the name and other is a text

1) =validation_customers (This one is a named range)
2) ALL (This one is a simple Text)

I would like to know how to apply these two in a single cell.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Humayun

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
If you want it to show as a drop-down list, you'll need to add ALL to your validation_customers range. If you want the user to type the name manually, you can use this custom DV formula:

=OR(ISNUMBER(MATCH(H1,validation_customers,0)),H1="all")

where H1 is the cell it's in.
