if a number is between 1-10 then it promts lets say true/3 for example.

this got to help me.... my brain has over boild and what comes out from it... that can be understoed.

haha. well i got to say this is far the best forum ever. Never had i got help this fast from a forum.

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I assume that means if true you want to say TRUE, and if False 3

Assuming number to check in A1:

=IF(MEDIAN(1,10,A1)=A1,TRUE,3)

ok... my brain old me that...

if i set a number between 1 and 10 and the answer gives 3
lets say that numbers between 8 and 15 gives 0,5.

is there a formula for that

i know there is a cross over. but it need to be like that for me so i can get right answers.

but if you like to have a cros over like 8-15 gives 0,5 in the same cell??

You want a 3 and a .5? or 3.5 or what exactly?

Ok, i´ll try to explain.

i´ve got a time schedule that i wont to calculate extra pay for work on nights e.t.c

like this
start 15:30
end 22:30
if i work like this i will have 3 for evening and 0,5 for night

from 19:00 to 22:00 i have evening extra pay
and from 22:00 to 6:00 i got night extra pay

soo
a1 is start time
b1 is end time
c1 is total
d1 is evening extra pay
e1 is night extra pay
f1 is for hollydays extra pay
g1 is for if i was called in to work... this gives lots of cast :)

and all of his will go down to 21 rows. thats the same as 21 working days.

i need this to calculate and automate my workschem.

The thing is that we can start 6:00 or 6:30 or when ever. end end when ever. that´s wy i thought that between times and a form of cross over formula could help me..

What do you think?
